Stainless Whistling Tea Kettle Makes a Great Gift
October 27th, 2008My sister is a big tea drinker. Every time she comes over to visit, the first thing she does is head to the kitchen, fill up my tea kettle and then she pops it on the stove to boil. I’ve asked her at times why she always uses a kettle instead of just popping some water in the microwave, and she usually replies it’s not the same, she prefers the temperature of the boiling water from the kettle. Her own kettle is starting to show its age, so I’ve decided I’m going to surprise her with a shiny new stainless whistling tea kettle for the holidays.
She’ll get a big kick out of the gift, but even more importantly I know she will love it and use it all of the time. When she’s not using it, I’m sure the rest of the family will be heating up water for some hot cocoa or their favorite Ramen noodle soup. It’s definitely the kind of gift that won’t go to waste. I’ve picked a tea kettle made of 18/10 stainless steel since I know it’s durable. Plus this kettle is very attractive and will look great on her stove top. I think tea kettles make a great gift for any tea-lover!
